Easthampton police were called to the Culdaff Street home just after 3 a.m., where they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, but he died of his injuries around an hour later.
A 23-year-old woman was arrested and will be charged with murder, authorities said. Prosecutors have not released the woman's name as of Tuesday afternoon.
This is the first homicide in Easthampton since 2012.
